About Us

Coughlan Coleman Hughes was founded in 1995 by Brendan Coleman and Denis Coughlan and were joined by John Hughes in 2003. Denis Coughlan retired in 2004. We recently added Cian Mahony and Shane O'Halloran to our team and they bring with them a wealth of experience in the Life & Pensions industry. Cian specialises in the Pension & Investment area and Shane has expert knowledge of the Protection Market.

We have over 50 years combined experience in the Financial Services Industry.  Brendan previously has worked with City Life in Cork for over 20 years and has a vast experience in dealing with investment products.  John has previously worked in the insurance industry in such companies as Friends First and Scottish Provident. John is a Qualified Financial Adviser (QFA). Cian specialises in the Pension & Investment area and Shane has expert knowledge of the Protection Market. Both Cian and Shane are also Qualified Financial Adviser (QFA).
